Hi, my friends, how are you?
I'v got a lot of fun in this trip and I have tried a lot of different things. They are all new to me.
In this trip, I am not just having fun, I have also gained a lot of knowledge, especially the English skills. I also like different types of games as well as the Canadian culture.
I have learnt a lot of English idioms during our English lessons and I think they are useful in my writing. They are all new and interesting to me. Besides, I have known each word can have a lot of different meanings. Just take an example to look at the word 'broke'. In formal English, it is the past tense of break which means to destroy something. However, it can also mean "no money". The meaning is totally different. I was very surprised of that! I then realised that English language is as deep as the sea and so there are still a lot for me to learn! I believe I should work harder on my English language.
Here, I have learnt how to play baseball too. This is a very great sport! Before I had learnt how to play it, I was so afraid of it, because I had never played it before. However, after our Canadian teachers had taught me how to play it, I enjoyed this game so much! This is because it is very exciting. Also, I could play the game with my classmates.
I am really pleased that I have a chance to take part in this Program. It broadens my horizon a lot!!!
