I feel like I just arrived!!!
Hi everybody!
Today is 25th July in Canada time, and the trip is almost over. Time passed so fast that I feel like I just arrived yesterday! I really enjoy this trip and there are some reasons.
First, we can do a lot of different things that we don't have chances to do in Hong Kong. I like playing baseball, bowling, tennis and beach volleyball. They are all new to me even it's my second time coming here. Hong Kong is really a small place that we have not got enough area to play these sports.
Second, I like my host family. They take good care of me, just like the way they treat their daughter. They always ask me if I have enough food or not. On the first day I met them, they gave me a gift. I feel so safe staying with them since they are very nice people. I always share my feelings with them and they have made my trip even a happier one.
Finally, I like the food here. Also, the water here is so clean that it is safe to drink tap water. No worries at all!
This is really a wonderful trip for me that I like it so much.

Mini-golf
It's a small mini-golf course. Students are not having much fun since there're too many people. Yet, it's still an interesting experience.
++++++++++
This morning, one class of students had a quiz on the phrasal verbs and the vocabulary they have been learning in class. It's wonderful to hear that most of them got more than 80% correct. Well done students!!!

Herman enjoys a lot!!!
Hi, this is Herman Wong here.
Let me tell you what I feel about my life in Canada!
Saskatoon is a nice place for me. It is quiet and peaceful. I enjoy the life in Saskatoon because I love quiet life. Also, there are many trees here that everywhere is green. I can't have those trees in Hong Kong.
This program is great for students because we can try a lot of different things. In these few days, I have gained a lot of good experience in Canada and I have also tried many things that I have never tried them in Hong Kong. I played beach volleyball, tennis and baseball with my schoolmates. Also, I played golf in my host family's yard. Unfortunately, I hurt my toe when I played beach volleyball. My host mom took me to see the doctor here. Luckily, I am fine now.
I am lucky because I have a nice host family. I have tried a lot of different food here such as turkey and ham sandwiches, hashbrowns, ice-cream, candies and smokies. They also take me to different places.
This is also a program to improve our English. We go to school from 9.00 to 14.00 every day. I have learned a lot of English skills during the lessons though sometimes, it is a bit boring. The skills are useful, especially to help me in my writing and my speaking. I have also learnt a lot of phrasal verbs and vocabulary. I like the lessons.
I always talk with my host. I know one thing that is interesting. You know what, we can buy a house in Saskatoon, but we can only buy an apartment in Hong Kong with the same amount of money. That is crazy.
Life is different, and I enjoy a lot!!!

Irene loves Canada!!!
Hi there :P
Time flies. I have been in Saskatoon for one week. Everything is GREAT here.
First, my host family is really nice and my host parents treat me like their daughter. I am glad that I can a chance to try various Canadian food as my host mom, Gaylene, is a cook. During my leisure time, my host family and I go to some famous places in Saskatoon such as Saskatoon Sidewalk Sale, Medal Art Gallery and Farmer's Market.
Also, the lifestyle here is different from Hong Kong's. Canadians play a lot of sports. This week, I played tennis, beach volleyball, batting cages, wall climbing and also my favourite sport, baseball.
My school days are wonderful that I have learnt a lot. The Canadian teachers give us some vocabulary every day and we try to use the vocabulary in the afternoon activities. The teachers here are friendly, they always play with us and chat with us. We have so much fun with them, despite the fact that we will be having a QUIZ tomorrow!!!
I am so looking forward to playing mini-golf, ice-skating, horsebackriding and bowling next week.
I love Canada!!!

Hi, this is Alex!!!
Hi, my friends, how are you?
I'v got a lot of fun in this trip and I have tried a lot of different things. They are all new to me.
In this trip, I am not just having fun, I have also gained a lot of knowledge, especially the English skills. I also like different types of games as well as the Canadian culture.
I have learnt a lot of English idioms during our English lessons and I think they are useful in my writing. They are all new and interesting to me. Besides, I have known each word can have a lot of different meanings. Just take an example to look at the word 'broke'. In formal English, it is the past tense of break which means to destroy something. However, it can also mean "no money". The meaning is totally different. I was very surprised of that! I then realised that English language is as deep as the sea and so there are still a lot for me to learn! I believe I should work harder on my English language.
Here, I have learnt how to play baseball too. This is a very great sport! Before I had learnt how to play it, I was so afraid of it, because I had never played it before. However, after our Canadian teachers had taught me how to play it, I enjoyed this game so much! This is because it is very exciting. Also, I could play the game with my classmates.
I am really pleased that I have a chance to take part in this Program. It broadens my horizon a lot!!!

Everything is excellent!!!
Hi ^_^
I have been looking forward to this trip and now, I am in Canada! I feel really good. I think I really love western culture.
My host family is nice. Everything is excellent and I've tried a lot of different things such as beach volleyball, tennis, batting cages and wall climbing that are all new to me. I particularly like playing tennis. Although it's hard, I have a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I could only play beach volleyball with my schoolmates for a while because it's raining heavily that day. I hope we can go and play again.
I like the trip as I can speak and practise my English!

My flying feelings
Hello, it has been a week since we arrived last week!
You know what, I stayed on the planes for about 17 hours last Wednesday. It was horrible!!! I don't want to stay on the plane for such a long time again!!!
These several days, I felt bored at my host family's home because we just had a few activities. Every day, I surf the net and do my homework. My teacher is Mr. Sander and he is funny. We have a lot of different activities with him. I like most of the activities except the tour of the U of S. I think playing beach volleyball and tennis, batting cages are interesting. Climbing wall is exciting too.
There will be more exciting games to come.

Hello :D
Hello!

I think this trip is wonderful because there are a lot of nice people in Saskatoon. My host family is nice so I love them. My host parents have two kids so I can play with them and it helps me learn more English. I love Saskatoon very much because the sky is always blue. This is very beautiful.
Every day, I have a lot of work to do but I love it. We have activities every day after school and I play lots of sports here I have never tried before. That is a great experience for me. My host family takes me to different places every day. I like to learn more about Saskatoon. Yesterday, the host mom took me to a community garden and I learnt some new vocabulary. We played with the kids in the park that made me feel very tired. Generally, I love this trip very much.
